Ingredients
- 1 kg feijoas
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup water (plus extra if needed)
Method
Step 1
Halve 1 kg of feijoas and remove the flesh.
Step 2
Puree the feijoa flesh in a blender until smooth, then Add ½ cup of sugar and ½ cup of water to the blender. Blend again until the mixture is well combined.
Step 3
Strain the juice through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to remove any pulp. then Pour the strained juice into a saucepan.
Step 4
Heat it to the boiling point, adding extra water if necessary to achieve your desired consistency.
Step 5
Allow the mixture to cool, store it covered in the fridge.
